Do I need to know my router's WEP key for a wired PS3 connection? And The Godfather 2 help.?

I am moving to my mom's house and I want to be able to play my Playstation 3 online. I forgot the WEP key. So if I use a wired connection do I need to know the WEP key? Also if I reset the router I don't know how to set it up again. Or is there a way to retrieve the WEP key?

For The Godfather 2 (PS3,) will trophies be disabled if I use cheat codes?

Tracy L, when i click on the first link it says to enter a password but I don't know what it is. When I click on the second link, it says page load error.

Just use a wired machine (no wep needed) log in to the routers web pages, select the Wireless Security page. You can either view (some routers) or change the key!
If its a linksys router, the web is at http://192.168.1.1
dlink 192.168.0.1 2wire http://gateway.2wire.net (the key is also printed on the label unless it has been changed)

Wehat router, we can tell you the exact way to connect and change the key. It will need a wired computer to the router.

If the router asks for a username and password, that is the correct page! You have to have those. What brand of router. You can get the default username and password from the manufacturers support site! Or there are lists of those on the web. So what router?
