Why is it easy to score in NBA Live 09?

For a change, I played NBA Live 09 on the PS3 for the first time. I used the Chicago Bulls against the Orlando Magic, and Derrick Rose torched them for 62 points without any cheat codes. Is it just my luck or is this game really lets you score bunch of points with no regard for defense?

try to put it on hall of fame or something like that and then play it . if your good at that, then your just good... try 2k its better
