In PS3 Oblivion, how do I get out of the Painting World!!?

In Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion(PS3 version), I am stuck in the mission when I had to get this paint brush back to this guy in this painting in order to exit the painted world. I had found the dead body, retrieved the brush, brought it back to the guy who needed it. Once I had given it to him, he said that he would paint a portal to get out of the painted world. He whirld the brush, and some magic effect had appeared for two seconds, but........NO PORTAL OUT!! I am now trapped in the painted world due to a glitch of some swort when a portal out was supposed to appear, but didn't. I have no save files before this mission, so I can't just reload the game before I did the mission, so I am litterally traped in this painting. Does anyone know any way to get out of this mess. I am only a level 6 character, but I do not want to start a new game all over again. Please offer me some help on what to do. Cheats, codes, anything.
