My first shop project was in high school and it was not a work of art, it got the job done that it was intended for but it could have been built a lot better. When I look back at what went wrong I realize that I was doomed before I even started because I had a hand sketched diagram of what I wanted but it was not a clear and concise blueprint. If I were a journeymen level carpenter it would not have made a difference because I could have completed a work of art simply because of my experience.

If you are a do it yourself at heart but lack experience then before you start any project whether it is as simple as building a dog house or as complex as a two car garage you need a good road map, that is where a good set of building plans come in handy. Not only will you complete a better project but you will save yourself time and money! Why? Because with good plans you will know from the start:

1. Your material requirements.
2. Your tool requirements.
3. Your skill level needed.
4. The amount of time it will take to complete your project.

Let's break that down further, if you know the exact amount of lumber and in some cases the exact cuts of the wood you are going to spend less time running back and forth to the lumber yard, ever done that before? Detailed plans will help you with the planning, in some cases right down to the last nail.

If you are going to build a carport but don't even have a skill saw, level, hammer or other tools necessary to complete that task you are in for a big letdown.

Before tackling any project you have to ask yourself if you think you can complete the job and will it function? If I were to ask you to drive the Baja 1000 would the idea be appealing or exciting? But would you feel the same after I showed you the road map and the entire desert, rocks, hazards and other difficulties that you would be encountering? The same holds true for a good set of blueprints, you will see the work in front of you and know if you are up for the task.

The final consideration is your time frame, if you are going to be building in your spare time the project could take several months. As an example if you are constructing a storage or garden shed you may want to complete that in a timely fashion so you can get use out of it as quickly as possible.

Even if you decide not to tackle a building project having the blueprints is still very beneficial because it can save you a lot of money because you can be involved in the project rather than turning over all the decisions to the builder. You will also be able to know what is going on with your new structure. Think you could keep a cab driver honest if you had a map of the city rather than be at the mercy of their direction?

Do you want to tackle a do it yourself project? You can do it! Start off right with a good set of building plans and you will complete something to be proud of and is functional!

ps3 cheats fifa 08

Anybody seen NBA 08, FIFA 08, and NHL 08 on PC?? Is EA trying to screw PC gamers?

I simply cannot believe Electronic arts. Why would they make such crappy games JUST FOR THE PC?!! I mean the console versions of these games are just superb but when it comes to PC, its like a game from 5 years ago. and to think that many PCs are even powerful than the PS3!!! cant anybody even sue or something? its like cheating aint it?!!

not really, it's just that the console market is much larger than the PC market so they would focus on putting more effort into where they can make the most money.
As for suing them....good luck with that
